ARCHITECTURE & ENVIRONMENT

In this module, we were introduced the components of environmental conditions and issues that need to be considered in architecture design. We focused on human intervention affecting the environment both positively and negatively.

PROJECT 1

In this project, we were tasked to choose a house and analyse the issues related to daylighting and thermal comfort, and formulate ideas in addressing the said issues by incorporating passive design approaches.

PROJECT 2

In this project, we were tasked to choose a green building in Malaysia and conduct a case study on it to extract and share valuable insights on its applied environmental strategies, and increase public recognition on the importance of green buildings in addressing climate change and creating healthy environments.
